Sanitization Standards

We have always taken the cleanliness of our Spa & Salon seriously but in this new environment we have taken all necessary steps to meet and exceed the cleanliness, sanitization and sterilization standards set by NYS, CDC, Department of Health, & OSHA. Here are some of the standards we have implemented.

While we recommend regular hand washing with soap and water, we will have Hand Sanitizer stations available throughout the Spa & Salon.

We have applied the ‘Clean, Sanitize, Sterilize’ concept to everything we do. Following these steps ensures that our space & tools are cleaned, then sanitized, and when appropriate, sterilized.

Stations & Tools are Cleaned, & Sanitized in between each guest. Specific tools are also Sterilized as appropriate.

We have limited the number of Spa Stations & Salon chairs that will be utilized to every other one which leaves 6-12 feet of distance between each guest. We are limiting the total number of Technicians & Stylists who will be working at any time. We have also placed helpful Social Distancing reminders and guides throughout the Spa & Salon. We will maintain a schedule as well as documentation of all cleaning and sanitization practices performed.

Staff Precautions

We are dedicated to ensuring both the safety of our Staff as well as our Guests. Several precautions have been implemented to do so. 

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Our Staff will be donning several pieces of protective equipment as required by NYS including a Face Covering, Face Shield, Goggles, Gloves, & Apron.

SANITIZATION

Our Staff will be cleaning, sanitizing & sterilizing their stations and tools between each Guest.

What is Required of You

We’re all in this together. There are a few things we required of our guests to ensure a safe environment.

FACE COVERING REQUIRED

We require every guest to wear a Face Covering that meets the CDC standards while on property. If you do not have one of your own, we will have single-use masks available for use during your visit for a small fee.

MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING

Every guest should be aware of their surroundings and practice Social Distancing. Click Here for more information on what Social Distancing includes.

CANCEL 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE

If you need to cancel, we ask that you do so 24 hours in advance so we can offer your dedicated time to another guest.

FEELING ILL? STAY HOME.

If you do not feel well please stay home & contact your doctor.

What to Expect

There will be some changes to the way we perform services to ensure we align with the safety regulations mandated. Our Staff will do their best to communicate these to you throughout your experience. We ask for your patience and understanding as we all navigate these challenges together.

Payment options for services will include Cash, Credit or Debit Cards, Gift Cards & Rewards Points*. Please note that special offer promotions for Services have been suspended. 

CREDIT or DEBIT CARDS

We accept Credit or Debit Cards including Visa, Mastercard, & Discover. Our Receptionist may ask you to swipe your own card to limit touchpoints.

GIFT CARDS

You may redeem Gift Cards for services only. We have extended the Expiration date for Gift Cards to 2 years from date of purchase.

REWARDS POINTS

We appreciate and value your loyalty and invite you to redeem Rewards Points towards your visit. *We will now limit the value that may be redeemed towards each visit to $5. We thank you for your understanding.

SPECIAL OFFERS SUSPENDED

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience regarding special offer emails you may have received. We’ve been made aware that promotions to return have been sent while we have been closed due to a technical limitation. All special offers for services at Pineapple Day Spa have been temporarily suspended. Gift Certificate & Gift Card promotions are still valid. We appreciate your understanding.
